Welcome to Amoawiman Progress Group (APG)

Amoawiman Progress Group (APG), founded in January 2017, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to transforming rural Ghana, one child at a time. APG believes every child deserves a safe classroom, clean water, and access to basic healthcare. The organization’s mission is to uplift communities by providing high-quality school facilities, clean water, essential healthcare, and community empowerment initiatives. The organization maintains a strong commitment to efficiency and transparency. Administrative and operating expenses are kept minimal, and board members volunteer their time and share travel costs, ensuring that resources are focused on delivering the greatest possible benefit to children and communities in need.

Our Vision

A future where every child in rural Ghana has access to quality education, good health, and the opportunity to build a prosperous life.

Our Impact

APG-supported initiatives have contributed to increased enrollment and improved outcomes, demonstrating the effectiveness of targeted interventions in enhancing participation and success.

Rising Enrollment

APG-supported initiatives have significantly increased school attendance, opening pathways for more children to advance in education.

Empowering Girls

Girls now represent nearly 50% of graduates, up from just 20%, thanks to a safe learning environment and strong support from the community outside the school.

Improved Community Health

Annual health screenings enable early detection of conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and malnutrition, empowering families to care for their well-being.

Clean Water

Boreholes and sanitation projects reduce water-borne diseases and improve school attendance and overall health.
